SCHOOL OF EDUCATION: Producing Assessment Instruments

In technology education, assessment is challenging and underdeveloped as it is a nascent practice and teachers do not have a well-defined subject tradition to lean on when assessing students.

In this study, a grounded theory approach was used to investigate the process college and university instructors undergo to design and develop online courses. Fourteen instructors who created online courses for four-year colleges and universities were interviewed about their experience designing and developing online courses.

Dual vocational education and training (dual VET) is a recent policy aimed at establishing strong connections between the education system and the business sector. It serves to ensure the continuity of training, reduce early school leaving, and actively involve the business sector in the training and qualification of students, known as apprentices.

The objectives of this study were to (1) investigate the efficiency of blended teaching online according to the Super Star Learning Pass model on Basic computer application for Shunde Technical Vocational College, (2) compare students' achievements before and after learning through blended teaching online according to the Super Star Learning Pass model on Basic computer application, and (3) examine students’ satisfaction with of using blended teaching online according to the Super Star Learning Pass model on Basic computer application.
